Australian Institute of Company Directors – Women’s Regional, Rural and Remote Diversity Scholarships 2022-2023

The AICD with support from the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet’s Office for Women offers scholarships for emerging and experienced female directors in regional, rural and remote Australia. Scholarships closed, studies commence 2023.

Governance Foundations for NFP Directors - AICD (2021)

The Not for Profit Governance course I completed through the Australian Institute of Company Directors was invaluable in my work on NFP boards. This course provided a comprehensive overview of the role of a NFP director. The session on finance was particularly helpful as I have never had any formal training in financial reporting or accounting. Since completing the course, I've been able to apply my knew knowledge as our board worked to review our strategic plan for the next few years as I felt more confident in highlight the current strength and weaknesses of the organisation. Completing this course has given me additional personal confidence in my role as a NFP director and I'd highly recommend it for anyone taking on a director role in a NFP organisation.
