The McKinsey Young Leaders Forum was incredible. At the start of the course, the facilitators told us to watch out for our ‘break through moment’ during the course. Mine came during the morning of the 2nd day. I realised that though I’m not currently in a leadership position, leadership is something within me – a gifting – that I will use again. And learning about the impact leaders have on team/organisational culture helped me reflect on some past experiences I’ve had (some good and some bad) and see them with new clarity. I’m excited about leading safe, empowered, collaborative teams in the future, armed with a new level of insight about all things leadership.
