Tricia Vilkinas

Tricia Vilkinas (PhD) is an Adjunct Professor of Management at the University of South Australia. She has held various leadership positions: Head of the International Graduate School of Management, Head of Strategic Partnerships, Director of the International Centre for Management and Organisational Effectiveness and Chair of the Professoriate. Tricia has also been a member of several University committees such as Academic Council, University Council, Research Policy Committee, and Research Degrees Committee.  Her main research area is leadership and its application in various settings such as academia, public and private sectors, and in remote enterprises in desert Australia.  She has lead research teams for several Office of Learning and Teaching applied research projects focussed on academic leadership. Over her years in academia she has supervised many doctoral students to completion.  She has also worked with many organisations/boards in an advisory capacity such as Telstra, Mobil (Australia), and various government departments. She has been involved in the management and delivery of postgraduate programs for over 40 years. Along the way she has gained the following qualifications: B.Sc., B. Comm., Dip. Psych., M.Psych and a PhD.
