Through The AICD Sharpen your Skills course for NFPs I have confidently developed new skills and build upon my knowledge of corporate governance. The course provided me with insight into ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance), risk, diversity, and compliances including safe harbour. The subject matter was broken down and delivered by the highest standards of professional in the area of governance training. This opportunity has provided me with more awareness to at when the board is conforming and performing so that best practice and succession planning and risk is monitored. I value this experience and endeavour to share my learnings with community groups and strengthen the board.
