Leona Spencer, General Manager Engagement and Communications

Leona Spencer joined the Australian Scholarships Foundation leading our engagement, communications and marketing in 2021. Leona is passionate about building effective collaborations to support the uplift of the not-for-profit sector.

Leona has worked in the not-for-profit sector for ten years, previously with The University of Sydney, John Grill Centre of Project Leadership. In her previous roles, she held senior brand, marketing communications, alumni and events roles in professional services and membership-based organisations, including King and Wood Mallesons, Ernst & Young and the NSW State Chamber of Commerce.

Leona has a Bachelor of Arts, from the University of NSW, and continued her studies with a Master of Marketing at UNSW. She has undertaken leadership programs with AGSM and Monash University and recently studied Digital Marketing Strategy at RMIT.
