Jeane Waters is a National Project Manager at The Smith Family

With over 10 years’ experience in managing a diverse range of projects, Jeane brings a pragmatic mindset to applying project management methodologies. She currently leads a high performing team of project leaders to drive significant organizational change. 

Jeane first joined The Smith Family in 2014 as a skilled volunteer, and within a year obtained a role in the Strategy Team managing the Major Projects Governance Framework. From 2018-2021, she was responsible for the delivery of various strategic projects funded by Macquarie Bank, ANZ and Barclays.  

Jeane currently leads one of The Smith Family’s largest government funded projects, the Growing Careers Project, which aims to deliver 76,725 opportunities for young people experiencing disadvantage to engage in careers education programs and activities. 

Before immigrating to Australia, Jeane spent five years working for Delta Built Environment Consultants in South Africa. She established their Environmental Division and was responsible for the delivery of a range of environmental projects across the country.
