The Governance Foundations for NFP Directors course has equipped me with the skills to better understand governance structures and director responsibilities in the not-for-profit sector, including the director’s role with regard to risk management, and potential personal liability. It has also enhanced my ability to take a more wholistic view of the financial health of our organisation. I am very grateful to the Australian Scholarships Foundation for supporting me to attend this course, and for their continued support for current and aspiring NFP Directors in regional areas.
