The Paul Ramsay Foundation seeks to identify and partner with individuals, communities and organisations working to create an Australia where people can overcome disadvantage and realise their potential.

The late Paul Ramsay AO established the Foundation in 2006 and, after his death in 2014, left the majority of his estate to continue his philanthropy for generations to come. His commitment to good works has allowed Paul Ramsay Foundation to support the for-purpose sector with grants of more than $350 million, made since 2016 to more than 90 different partners, committed as they are to achieving lasting change.

Governance Foundations for NFP Directors, AICD (2022)

The Australian Scholarships Foundation has been a great service and resource in helping me to work towards becoming an effective board director. The access to quality programs helps ensure that each person has a valuable experience and provides pathways to material and knowledge that would otherwise be unattainable. Overall the process was smooth and well supported from submission through to attending. Since being provided with this opportunity I have been able to effectively implement some new strategies around risk management and improved our board meetings to ensure effective use of the time and resources we have available. Overall this has reduced our response times to board submissions and allowed for more informed decisions increasing the quality of the outcomes. The Australian Scholarships Foundation have been fantastic and a great resource to anyone looking to access quality programs.
