Governance Scholarships for Indigenous Leaders
Applications close 10 December

Perpetual, the Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD) and Australian Scholarships Foundation (ASF) are pleased to make 17 scholarships available for Indigenous leaders to attend the AICD's Company Directors Course for Indigenous Business Leaders in Perth next year. This is the first year the scholarships are focused exclusively on supporting Indigenous communities with new or existing directors, public officials and senior executives offered a place at the five-and-a-half-day postgraduate program, designed specifically for the Indigenous business community. ASF’s CEO, Sam Sayers, says, “We are delighted to be able to support indigenous leaders to access governance education...These scholarships provide opportunities that may otherwise be difficult for Indigenous communities to access, and we see first-hand the benefits that governance training brings to recipients and their organisations.” Together, ASF, AICD and Perpetual are offering a combination of full and partial scholarships (valued at up to $7,235 each) to enable Indigenous leaders Australia-wide to build their governance capabilities and affect positive and long-lasting impact for their organisations. Applications are now open to new or existing directors, public officials and senior executives reporting to a board who need to understand governance issues in depth. For more information, download the course flyer or click here apply. Please share this opportunity with someone you think would benefit. Applications close Monday 10 December 2018 at 5pm AWST.
