The Paul Ramsay Foundation seeks to identify and partner with individuals, communities and organisations working to create an Australia where people can overcome disadvantage and realise their potential.

The late Paul Ramsay AO established the Foundation in 2006 and, after his death in 2014, left the majority of his estate to continue his philanthropy for generations to come. His commitment to good works has allowed Paul Ramsay Foundation to support the for-purpose sector with grants of more than $350 million, made since 2016 to more than 90 different partners, committed as they are to achieving lasting change.

The CPA Program - CPA Australia (2020-2021)

I am extremely thankful to the Australian Scholarships Foundation and CPA Australia for providing me with this life-changing opportunity. I regularly volunteer my accounting skills to local community groups, who are now able to benefit from my professional development. One community group in particular includes the mental health charity I developed with my husband and close friend, after my husband’s suicide attempt. This opportunity has ensured I possess the skills required to achieve our charity goals of increasing community support, mental health education and awareness for families and suicide survivors.
