"The Origin Foundation has been a supporter of the Australian Scholarships Foundation for three years and two funding rounds. We renewed our funding after the first period because we were impressed with the results being achieved by ASF and their business model.

The Productivity Commission in 2010 found that, “The ability of Not-for-Profit organisations to respond to changing environments and realise their vision - to have social impact - depends to a substantial extent on the knowledge, skills, and abilities of their people”. This led the Origin Foundation to seek ways to facilitate greater training and development.

We believe ASF is doing an outstanding job in raising standards in the sector. They do this with a small team, low overheads, and a smart use of technology. We have found ASF to be professional, diligent and innovative."

"Australian Scholarships Foundation (ASF) is one of the great not-for-profit (NFP) organisations that Perpetual has been associated with for several years.

ASF is a rare entity which has utilised existing capacity to help others. They maximise efficiencies through their innovative use of technology and ability to process scholarships with minimal resources, while delivering great outcomes for our community. Their strong governance and reporting model has also enabled them to secure funding in the past through trusts managed by Perpetual.

ASF understands that in any organisation, it is the people who make the difference and that education is vital to building capacity. ASF leverages education to invest in the people within the NFP sector, provides essential skill development for the individuals in the sector and is an affordable professional development partner for NFP organisations.

Perpetual has been proud to partner with ASF for the past 3 years in delivering scholarships to the NFP sector through the Australian Institute of Company Directors, and we look forward to continuing a strong relationship with ASF in the future."
