How long should my entry statement be?

Your statement should be up to 500 words long. There is a strict word limit (the judging panels have a lot to read) so you will be unable to submit your entry if you have gone over the word limit.

What should I include?

This is your chance to talk directly to the judging panel so use your words wisely!

The entry statement is an opportunity to let the judges know how your entry fits the criteria and what impact your work has had.

Pay attention to the category description and address the key points and criteria that have been outlined. You should address all of these in your statement.

It is recommended that this statement be written by the entrant themselves.

It is compulsory to include a supporting statement with each entry. This is a really important part of the entry submission process so please give some thought to what you want to say to the judges and the impact you/your work has had.
