Governance Institute

Governance Institute of Australia (Governance Institute) is the only independent professional association with a sole focus on the practice of governance.  It provides the best education and support for practising chartered secretaries, governance advisers and risk managers to drive responsible performance in their organisations. Governance Institute promotes lifelong learning in governance and risk management by providing relevant and up-to-date public training and tailored in-house learning.

The Certificates in Governance Practice, Governance and Risk Management and Governance for Not-for-Profits provide skills-based governance and risk management training, and a qualification for a wide range of professionals who are responsible for corporate accountability functions and processes within an organisation.

Governance Institute is pleased to offer scholarships to the Australian Scholarships Foundation in the Certificate in Governance for Not-for-Profits. This Certificate is tailored to meet the legal, regulatory and financial reporting requirements of the NFP sector which is currently undergoing reform. The Certificate has been designed to equip people involved in NFP organisations with a strong foundation for good governance while recognising the specific requirements of the sector.
